Long days of nothing

[ ]   —   10:16 pm

What a day, my first full day of work during part time employment. I guess that statement is somewhat confusing though, really, it was not a full day of anything remotely productive the the ends of work. I was able to work on teaching myself some vbscripting and well as taking some lessons from Ben. Seriously, he seems to be one of the few people actually interested in my personal self interested above that of the machine that we call Grand Valley. He is always willing to take the timet o explain something or work something out so that I can understand, and that is one of the best parts of being where I am, the ability to further knowledge. Today I was able to further my knowledge to the point of getting a for submission to work with and ASP to actually for email something to a desired recipient. I would link to that from here, but there is no reason that my brother should be getting pointless BS emails from this script from my friends.

Tonight’s trip to the bar was anopther relaxing evening. We went to Kahunaville, then to TGIFridays to have some brews, after a bad experience with the waitress we ended up staying for 2 rounds then calling it a night. There was good conversation, some talking with Darrin about life and whatnot, his “forensic investigation” of when he lost his cell lsat weekend, to my complaining about working on the page for my brother. All in all it was a good time, and tommorw should prove the same with a trip planned to see the passion of the christ with at least Abby. A break is all we ever need sometimes to get somethign to work, and it certainly was for me tonight. Then some online conversing with some people I don’t normally get to. That always opens a few new rays of light on a situation, thank you for that for sure. Its just being able to follow those rays to the true brilliance that is the truth that is difficult. It grows late, and I should try to get to sleep to have a semi-normal sleep schedule. Check out this blast from my past right here .
