Another end to another weekend. This was a nice relaxing weekend, I did get get a chance to catch up on sleep, though again last night I didn’t fall asleep till about 3:30. Wake up and watch some TV, followed by a call from the brother, and a call from the Dutchman. I am definately wishing I was down there, but I’m also amused that he was so cold last night out there. I guess he didnt trust me that those clear desert skies turn into cold desert nights. It happens though I suppose, why should they listen to the guy who’s been out there camping before. Otherwise, some time just chillin out and attempting to feed myself today with remaining food around the house. I have no idea how to prepare some of this frozen market day food that mom sent up with me at some point. Otherwise, some good time catching up with American HotRod, seeing a car being built in 4 hours, over the course of 7 weeks. Some cyber-chatting or something like that, but there are a lot of people that I might normally chat with online, I’m guessing due to spring break at Grand Valley starting up. I really enjoy having my windows and sliding door open, and even like to leave my window open at night, but some of the people that leave cars running in our parking lot for periods of time haven’t been treating their cars so well. So this sound of the cars squealing and running really rough, and holes in exhaust really piss me off. And obviously the people next to or below me smoke, becuase sometimes I get that great odor of cigarettes in the apartment when in the windas are open. Oh well, No need for further bitching about pointless stuff. It was definately a good weekend and good times with Abby as usual, hopefully this week brings good news about a new job or at least something to do at GV. I am seriously considering going up to OSR tomorrow night to do some sleeping under the stars and some campfire cooking on tuesday since I don’t have to work and all.
