I hate LUG-nuts

[ ]   —   11:00 pm

Yesterday was cool, not too terribly much to do at work, but there were at least calls to answer and people to help when they came in. I am working on organizing the back-blog and some other ideas have been flying around.Lunch was horrid as usual, mocking the GVLUG, they are the nerdiest people ever. the fact that we were 2 tables over and making fun of them was great. It really wouldve been interesting to see them enchant a burrito and have it attack us, make summon the black dragon to our table. The best defense we would have would be to “STAB” it, maybe give it a good “WHACK.” Anyhow, I spend a while stumbling around trying to figure out how to get my hands on some tickets for Abby for commencement. I guess I know a few people that shall be graduating, I may have to attend the ceremony, it could be fun. Maybe I will shoot myself in the head, no it may be interesting, play with the zoom on the camera … see how that works out. Spent some time chillin out up at the “Technology Fair” chatting with Cassie and Kevin. That was a good time, when all was said and done, and I figured out how to get the tickets, and chatted, took a short walk over to Kirkhof, it was around 5 when I got home. Play around with the computer for a bit, Abby came over and we headed out to Outback for Surprise Birthday dinner with Alex and a whole load of people. That was enjoyable, good food, good company and amusing conversation. Then a trip out to Allendale to chill with Cassie, an enjoyable end to the day.

Today was another day of not sleeping in, and continuing that pattern of late nights and relatively early mornings, but at least I did not have anything too particular to get done this fine day. I caught a short nap from like 10-12 then a trip out to “the big city,” to try to find some fans for my case. I checked a few computer stores, and they are all shitty little holes in the wall. I would’ve figured GPC to have fans and other computer building supplies, but apparently all they had were ThermalTake Crystal Orbs for chipsets, and LED 80mm fans for the case, not what a typical user would want to replace parts, and not good parts for modding and customizing either. My best option was unfortunately to pick up the parts at CompUSA for entirely too much money, but now my case is staying nice and cool, it is even exhausting cool air, and is right around how loud it was before the VGA fan went, and 2 of the case fans were dead. Maybe I should add a fan controller, switch the fans to be rheostat controlled when not over powering the machine to cut down on the volume, I was half tempted to buy a real quiet CPU fan today, but was waaaayy too overpriced. Otherwise, some dinner was tasty tonight, I have run out of soda though, I guess that means its time to switch over to alcohol. I guess we will be going to the bar at some point here tonight, I don’t know exactly when though. Peace out for now.
