Saturday night was a different time. Instead of the typical doing nothing on Saturday night, I ended up going out with DaKraut and JennyLou. We headed to Fairlanes for some bowling, it was awesome, pretty empty in the place, but not totally devoid of others to find amusement in. Among the 3 of us, we consumed a pitcher of beer, pretty below par “bowling alley” beer and just had fun rocking to the music, slinging some balls down the lane and just generally having a good time. We didn’t really pay that much attention to the score, just to having a good time away from a typical bar atmosphere. There were some cute young girls a few lanes down that were really amusing to watch dance and get down with the music. The lady falling down in the lane to the other side was also really amusing, top the night off with a trip to Steak and Shake, and it come out to an awesome evening.

Today at work was horridly boring. I spent the first 5 hours and 42 minutes waiting for the phone to ring, I caught some Zs and did some reading in this time, just killing time. I closed out a few HEAT tickets and browsed the web. I then got a call in response to a page I made about a backup not completing on time, then another hour or so till I actually got a real trouble call, which required the guy to log out and in and his problem was fixed. I was half wondering if the phone system was having problems or something. I played a few missions of Warcraft III, and then watched some futurama and went home.

Today there was actually somthing pretty interesting on the tube when I got home. There was a game of NFL europe on Fox. I watched that, and it really seems like preseason or scrimmage games, but amusing none the less. I was most amused by the NFL “tones” kinda the jingle they play. Reminds me that NFL season will be comming soon enough. Otherwise I watched parts of The Breakfast Club and 16 Candles. Then the Simpsons and LOL sunday. Then for a change I went out with Jenn for some dessert and chilled at Jason and Darrin’s place. Now I suppose I should get some sleep as I want to head to OSR in the morning to give a hand up there.

Since my family didn’t make it up this weekend, maybe some time in the future. I can only hope, but in any case ……
