Cheers

Well first, congratulations to Tod. You are now a legitimate businessman, you have income to compliment those business expenses. We will have to get you up and going later this afternoon with that website.

Otherwise there has not been too much excitement over here recently. Though I guess it has been a while since I had been motivated to update. The most exciting will be happening at 10:00 this morning, when the new guy comes in to start his training. He will be my replacement, thus ending this sentence of weekend working. Otherwise work has been as expeted …. work. I don’t necessarily enjoy answering the phones, but this is just the foot in the door to move up and get a more desirable position. It will be something good for a resume and well the full time labor is a nice change for the pocketbook. It does seem that things are the same everywhere, with the little quabbles and whatnot, but to be honest I don’t understand where some of the stuff at the Job comes from.

I am enjoying my new phone, I need to clean up my apartment a bot and do some laundry, I don’t really have any more dress shirts to wear. So those should get done before Monday hopefully, but that would infringe on Football Sunday.

Last weekend was an interesting time, it was nice to not have to work on Sunday, even if i was scheduled I was way too drunk to have made it in to work. Those Bloody Mary’s Hit hard sometimes. But it was a good time celebrating a birthday with Deanna, see the gallery for the Pics, followed by GV game on Saturday, again see the gallery. It was all fun, and I’m glad I still have people to go out and play with. I did pick up a new memory card for my camera, 512Mb xD-media was at a good price at CompUSA. I think Miss Rooks is getting a little old on me or something, she’s always going to bed so early. At least I get to see her on the weekends from time to time, maybe even go to Mongo sometime soon.

Last night I worked with Tod and Becky helping do a demonstration for the Bear Den. Apparently we made “Hobo pies” otherwise known as Pudgies, and then got fancy and made cookies in a reflector oven. Followed those with cherry turnovers in the dutch oven and in the reflector oven. Top it all off with “the braid” which was a mix of vegetables as a filline in some sort of biscuit crust. All made rather interestingly in an inverted oblong dutch oven, on top of the hibachi, there will be photos up a bit later.
